Meditation Technique

#1 Find an enjoyable meditation position to sit.

We recommend you to sit in a Lotus Position (Padmasana), or simply stay straight up on a chair with your back straight (or in the easy pose – sukhasana). The actual goal is not how you sit, the real goal is to breathe correctly and effectively, and a posture that permits you to bring attention to breathing.

#2 You can now start the mantra in the background, but please read the meaning and benefits of the mantra.

#3 Close your eyes.

#4 The next step is to stop all the thoughts running in our minds. It is very demanding to discipline the mind directly, here is where breathing will help you. Start concentrating on your in and out-breath, follow its path, as it enters from your nose, into your lungs, extending the chest, and then slowly leaving your body. Let your breathing balance and follow a rhythm.

#5 The next step is to start relaxing your body, and you breathe out, softly eliminating all the tension, and emotional stress in your body, in your face, in your arms, shoulder, legs, and mind.

#6 The next step is to start to concentrate on the meaning of the healing mantra. You can chant it if you have by-heart it, but the shift begins with understanding. So you can let the mantra run in the background, as you concentrate on the meaning of the healing mantra. Meditate on the meaning and benefits, go deep, and develop your own understanding. And as you get comfortable, you start chanting the mantra aloud and sing along.

#7 Meditate at least eleven minutes/twice a day (at least once). If you have more time, you can meditate for as long as you want.

#8 Once you are finished with the meditation, smoothly rub your hands together, and once they are warm, keep them on your eyes, and remove them gradually as you open your eyes to a new you.
